Water service interruption

The following was just released by the city of Maryville. Because of the holiday, some of the details won't maker the paper until Thursday, so we're posting the city's message in it's entirity online:

RE: Water leak at First & Davis

The City of Maryville Water Crew has identified a leak on a water valve at the intersection of First and Davis streets. The repair of the valve will lead to the water being shut off in that area. The repair is being scheduled for early Monday, July 9th. Residents are encouraged to fill water containers to ensure they have water during this time.

Residents expected to be affected by the repairs will receive a door hanger with further information.

We apologize for the inconvenience and repairs will be made as quickly as possible.
