- The beauty of life
- Posted April 9, 2012 midnight
- The beauty on display at Nodaway Nursing Home west of Maryville last week was a lot more than skin deep — it glowed softly from lifetimes spent growing, learning, loving, working, raising families and living life to the fullest. The long-term care facility, owned by Tiffany Care Centers, held its inaugural resident beauty pageant Wednesday afternoon. The four contestants were Dorothy Stanford, Laurel O'Rourke, Arlene Carroll and Ronda Wilson. After the judges tallied their points, Wilson was declared Nodaway Nursing Home queen. She will represent the residence during the regional Missouri Health Care Association Pageant May 4 at the Maryville Community Center.
