- Courthouse cupola
- Posted March 25, 2012 midnight
- A crew from Campbellsville Industries in central Kentucky arrived in Maryville last week and spent most of the morning removing the hail-damaged cupola from the clock tower of the Nodaway County Courthouse. The cupola was damaged by marble-sized hale in a freak storm last August, and is being taken back to Campbellsville for repairs. The modern-materials reproduction replaced the original 1880s structure, which was removed last year after more than a century of weathering and decay.
